Disney ABC Television Group Director - Digital Revenue Planning in New York, New York

The Director of Digital Revenue Planning will report into the VP of Cable Linear & Digital Revenue Planning. The Director will have managers reporting up to them. The Director and Managers together will support day to day operations, assist with longer term strategy, daily financial reporting and stewardship.

Responsibilities :

  • Creation of sales rate card; all pricing and packaging strategies

  • Develop and analyze budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc revenue analyses across the Disney digital properties

  • Work with research counterparts for all modeling estimates

  • Responsible for all daily reporting and pro-forma modeling up to senior sales management

  • Partner with sales and marketing

  • Manage deal approval, inventory needs, and provide guidance for building plans

  • Give direction on upfront and scatter marketplace strategy

  • Main point of contact for ASRs and Sales assistants on day to day needs.

  • Help coordinate deal delivery with the Ad Ops team

  • Work closely with Disney product team on new product offering, launch dates, and revenue impacts to the business

  • Meet with 3rd party companies to think through and develop potential revenue opportunities

Basic Qualifications :

  • 6-8 years experience in media

  • Strong experience in digital media

  • Ad sales experience

  • Proficiency in reporting

  • Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present

  • Exceptional Excel skills

  • Strong math skills (i.e. pivot tables, lookups)

  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Ad servers a plus

  • Programmatic advertising experience a plus

Required Education :

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance or economics or equivalent experience
