Freeform is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us reinvent television, putting the user first, providing the best entertainment experience available, and creating and supporting digital products our audience will love. The role has a special focus on innovation in the areas of monetization and ad experience, so experience in those areas is especially valuable.

Role reports directly to the VP, Digital Product for Freeform.

Responsibilities :

  • Ideation: Conceive, pitch, and develop original product concepts.

  • Functional design: Gather requirements, define how it’s all going to work, and collaborate with a UI designer to bring the concept to life.

  • Development: Participate in the technical development process, working closely with engineers to make it happen.

  • Marketing: Develop a go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the marketing group.

  • Lifecycle: Iterate, iterate, iterate. Take in the analytics, listen to the users, and determine how the product should evolve.

Basic Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of consumer-facing product management experience

  • Passion and desire to build products that deliver world class consumer experience

  • Must be able to write clear and actionable requirements

  • Should be able to think through complex edge cases (attention to detail is crucial)

  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously

  • Track record in understanding consumer data in order to drive product evolution

  • The ideal candidate is creative, yet grounded; thoughtful, yet biased towards action. We are looking for someone who dreams big, and doesn’t shy away from a challenge, and has an entrepreneurial nature and approach.

  • You’ll be self-motivated and a natural problem-solver who can get stuff done.

  • The job requires you to work across disciplines with various stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are critical.

  • Experience with mobile app monetization, in-app currency systems, loyalty programs, and/or video ad tech is critical.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working on an entertainment or video-based app

  • Experience with the TV Everywhere ecosystem is a plus

  • Familiarity with the Freewheel platform
