Disney ABC Television Group Vice President - Digital Sales in New York, New York
ABC National Television Sales (NTVS) is seeking an accomplished, highly motivated sales executive with demonstrable success in the digital landscape to lead our team of digital sellers and ad operations professionals. The Vice President, Digital Sales, reporting the President, NTVS, will serve as an expert in the digital sales marketplace nationally and in our markets. This position will oversee and drive the ABC NTVS Digital Sales strategy.
Provide strategic input in setting and maintaining digital sales targets for NTVS
Work closely with the nine NTVS regional sales offices on digital revenue opportunities, business development and multiplatform sponsorships
Collaborate with ABC Owned Station Sales Managers, local Account Executives, Digital Sales and Marketing Managers
Maintain, build and seek out additional Programmatic platforms to maximize revenue potential
Identify, pitch and close ad sales deals with agencies and advertisers
Work with the Ad Operations team to find efficiencies and solutions for technology challenges
Educate the internal sales teams throughout National Television Sales on the digital marketplace, ABC OTV digital capabilities and work with them to prospect and close business
Drive creation of persuasive sales presentations on our digital media offerings using market trends, case studies and ABC OTV products
Use industry expertise, knowledge and business understanding to effectively communicate the value of the ABC Owned Television Stations’ Digital offerings to clients and agencies
Drive a collaborative sales effort across other divisions within The Walt Disney Company
Basic Qualifications :
A minimum of four years management experience at a major publisher, agency or technology company
Thorough knowledge of the digital media landscape, challenges in the marketplace and an understanding of the competition.
Proven track record of growing accounts by forging strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies.
Experience selling digital and multi-screen solutions to clients and agencies.
Excellent analytical ability.
High level communication and presentation skills
Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Eagerness to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
Ability to interpret industry trends, and successfully tailor media offerings to provide solutions and maximum revenue generation
Highly organized, self-motivated individual
Preferred Qualifications :
Specific knowledge around Digital Video, Social Media and Branded Content a plus.
Required Education :
BA or BS Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education :
Advanced degree desirable
