We developed the Emmy Award-winning ABC Player, the Emmy Award-winning Academy Awards Backstage Pass app for iPhone and iPad, as well as high-traffic, over-the-top applications and services for a variety of mobile, desktop, and streaming media platforms. This Senior Analyst - Strategy will be a highly valued member of the Disney-ABC Digital Media team working on critical strategic and operational initiatives. The strategy team as a whole works closely with the EVP, Digital Media, Strategy and Business Development and other executives across Disney-ABC.
Assist in evolving the long-term strategic planning process and annual operating plan, including building financial models and creating synthesized presentations for executive management
Work in close partnership with finance, analytics, and research to form hypotheses, plan out analysis, gather data and deliver well supported recommendations in a timely manner
Help drive business analytics and insights for our digital business
Analyze business performance and build financial models (e.g., ROI analysis, pro-formas) with input from relevant departments and business leaders
Monitor industry trends and interpret the potential implications for the business
Partner with content creators, key executives, and marketing heads to evaluate & assess new business ideas (e.g., spin offs, serialization, merchandise)
Work effectively with other executives and team members throughout Disney-ABC, as well as other groups within The Walt Disney Company
Basic Qualifications :
A minimum of 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy (required)
Strong analytics and financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to build compelling/congruent PowerPoint presentations
Eagerness to dissect and analyze complex business relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a variety of business partners
Must be comfortable working both independently and as a member of a collaborative team
